Ahh, the fall is well and truly here, and I couldn’t be happier.

Well, with the weather anyway, many other things in the world continue to be less than ideal. And we’re due to have a monster of an en niño this year, so even the weather may betray me in the end. Still, things are pretty good up here in the City of Destiny lately. Coming to the end of a big project at work, about to start on some new ones. I’ve been battling a weird cold that keeps going away and then coming back in force for the past couple weeks, but I think I’ve finally got it licked now. So let’s get into it.

Reading/Watching: September 2026

Ahhh, September at last.

Fall is in the air, at least here in the Pacific Northwest. It’s not fully here yet, of course, but a couple weeks ago you could feel the shift. There was suddenly a slight chill in the wind, and it started getting about 10 degrees cooler at night. Survived another summer, wasn’t actually too too bad this year, didn’t have any heat waves or anything.

Reading/Watching: May 2026

Uff da, it’s been a while. I meant to write some more posts in between this and the last check-in, but work has been so busy lately.

I’m trying to wrap up this project that I’ve been pecking away at for over two years now, and there’s just so many little things that still need to be fixed up. Most of the time it’s fine, but whenever there’s some big meeting or deadline I tend to get stressed about it. Thinking too much about work outside of work… like I’m doing right now! Let’s get into it.
