Ahh man, here I am with another couple hours of FFT footage, and I haven’t actually touched the game in weeks.

This is why I made such a big backlog, I knew this was gonna happen. I always get pulled away from games before the end, especially when I like them a lot. I don’t want it to end! I don’t want to have to deal with the annoying stuff that always happens in the endgame, too. The big test at the end of the semester, so to speak. Though FFT isn’t actually bad in that regard, at least.

I’m editing it as I type these words, in fact. I was really trying to get it done earlier this time, finished about half of it earlier this week, but since then I’ve been to busy, what with the holidays and all. Had a lovely thanksgiving this year, up in Seattle, probably the best turkey I’ve ever had in my life. Or at least second to the deep-fried bird I had as a kid, one time.

Let’s Play FFT 05 – Betrayal at Zeirchele

Posting this LP so slowly has a bit of a surreal feeling to it.

The first ten episodes were all recorded basically daily, one after another, because I was on vacation and was having a ton of fun playing the game and recording. But now that I’m back at work, I no longer have the time or the energy for it. Like, yes, technically I have hours and hours after I finish work, but I don’t wanna stare at a screen thinking. That’s what I do at work all day!

I think I’m gonna make sunday my usual upload day, get on more of a regular schedule. I was so eager for the first one, I didn’t even think about it. I’m on vacation this coming week, so I’ll probably go and record several episodes, so I can have a buffer and actually get them out consistently on time! What a concept!
