This week, things get serious.
Well, plot-wise they’ve been quite serious for a while, what with Ramza being branded a heretic and his sister being kidnapped and the massive civil war going on in the background. But now the gameplay is getting trickier as well! I’ve had it easy for a while, but now the designers are actually putting together some scenarios that aren’t remotely fair and just expecting you, the player, to cope.
It’s time for another castle, which means: another showdown with a Lucavi! Also the completion of the whole plotline with Rapha and Marach, which feels like it was very quick this time. I suppose it’s okay for this game to be episodic, but it does sometimes feel like a bunch of material was cut.
I must admit I have not actually played this game in a couple weeks at this point. I’ve gotten distracted by some other recent releases, even finished a couple of ’em. But it’s not a problem, I have another month’s worth of episodes ready to go, and I’m feeling ready to get back to it after editing this one.
